We can start with an open question, a destination we have already discussed or a clear set of requirements. First, we explore what matters to you: wildlife and nature, photography, the sea, places to discover or time shared with others.

When there is a viable way forward, we define the trip and preparation. Costs, included services, responsibilities and support will be clear before confirmation.
My connection with Africa
Before this page came the journeys.
Africa is part of my personal story, which I share through photographs and writing. I have travelled in Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Egypt and Morocco: different journeys that have shown me different ways of experiencing a country.
I also enjoy sharing what comes before departure: understanding what to expect, making informed choices and preparing for the experience. I draw on my own travels and, when other expertise is needed, on conversations with professionals and contacts on the ground.

Knowing the territory
My experience is supported by collaborators and contacts with decades of experience across the continent. We work with local tour operators and destination professionals to shape each trip, including a FGASA-accredited guide.
Exploring opportunities
Through the operators involved, we can explore flight holds before confirmation and dedicated terms at selected properties or during certain periods. Availability, hold deadlines and conditions are checked for each proposal.
Travelling with someone you can turn to
Where the travel format allows, we can explore departing from Italy or elsewhere in Europe with an Italian- and English-speaking guide. Their participation, role and availability are confirmed for each trip.
What if we travelled together?
Storytelling, helping people prepare and sharing the journey are what I enjoy most. In some cases we can also discuss my participation: it depends on the timing and the project, and must be confirmed for that particular trip.

Do I need to know where I want to go?
No. We can start with what you would like to experience and explore the options together. You can message me directly without completing the form.
What if I am interested in a country you have not visited?
We can discuss whether and how I can help, involving the expertise needed. I will distinguish my first-hand experience from advice informed by other professionals.
Are there scheduled departures?
This page collects travel ideas and enquiries. Dates, format and itinerary are discussed afterwards. Any confirmed departure will have its own specific information.
Will you be there during the trip?
We can explore that possibility together. My participation will be explicitly confirmed for the individual trip.
Who organises and supports the trip?
I am your contact for exploring and shaping the experience. Operational arrangements and support depend on the travel format and professionals involved. The proposal will identify who organises the trip, enters into the contract, receives payments and provides assistance.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the trip and the support you need. After our first conversation I can explain the next steps. Any costs will be explained before the relevant work begins.
Does getting in touch make a booking?
No. It starts a conversation. Any paid activities and travel conditions will be presented before you are asked to confirm.
